Mexico School District #59 is accepting bids for Mexico Vocations & McMillian Foundation Repairs

The Mexico Vocational School portion of this project consists of the installation of 13 new helical tiebacks into an existing stemwall to prevent the existing stemwall from rotating further toward the exterior of the building. To complete this work, a portion of the existing window insulated panel and aggregate panel behind, which are below the building finished floor, will need to be removed to allow for the new helical anchor and bracket installation. Once installed a new insulated metal panel will need to be installed next to the existing insulated panel in each window frame and sealed to the existing
frame.

Additionally, brick masonry that is currently damaged will require repair. Additional cost must be listed.

Alternate #1 at the Mexico Vocational School will include the removal and replacement of approximately 515 square feet of floor slab inside the building and approximately 200 square feet of sidewalk outside the building.

The McMillian Elementary portion of the project consists of shoring a settled portion of footing at the southwest corner of the eastern building. Once this permanent shoring has been installed a portion of the exterior brick will require repairs.

Lump Sum Values of the alternates will establish a unit cost for the addition or subtraction of actual work required. Bid form should give a quantity and a Lump Sum Box next to it for each alternate.
