COVID-19:
Based on information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. These can include:

Chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma
Serious heart conditions
Immunocompromised: Cancer treatment, smoker, bone marrow or organ transplantation, immune deficiencies, poorly controlled HIV or AIDS, and prolonged use of corticosteroids and other immune weakening medications.
Severe obesity (body mass index [BMI] of 40 or higher)
Diabetes
Chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis
Liver disease
If any of these conditions apply to your child, please contact his/her health care provider to discuss a plan of care for returning to school for the 2020-2021 school year.

If you need any help or have questions, please contact your school nurse by email.

Please remember to use precautions to help protect yourself and your family from COVID-19. Practice good and frequent handwashing; avoid close contact with others; cover coughs and sneezes and clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. For more information visit the CDC website.
