Parade Route & Homecoming Information

Parade & Homecoming 2020
Posted on 10/05/2020
The 2020 Homecoming parade will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9. The safety of our students and community members is always our first concern, and we realize the parade is an iconic tradition. We will hold a "reverse parade," an idea proposed by student leadership, who felt strongly that we needed to recreate this tradition for our very special year! We hope you will join in the Bulldog spirit by driving through the MHS campus to see the traditional entries for the Homecoming parade. When you drive through, you will notice the familiar parade line up of the Grand Marshal, class floats, the candidates, the band, and other MHS and MHS activity "floats."
Individuals enter the parade at Park and Hendrix Streets. Parade marshalls on golf carts will escort cars through the parade in order to keep a steady and safe flow of traffic. Since we have never attempted a reverse parade before, we ask our loyal Bulldog fans for your patience in our creative solution for this annual event! On Friday, you will be able to vote for your favorite class float by "liking" the float photos on the MHS Facebook page! GO, BULLDOGS!
