    2026-27 District Handbook

  • Mexico Public Schools uses a variety of methods of communication to share school-related news, reminders, and important information with parents, guardians, and the community.

For parents/guardians with district students, it is important that you have a current email address and cell phone number in your Infinite Campus parent portal. Please check to make sure your contact information is up-to-date so you receive all school-related communication from the district, building principals, and your child’s teachers.

The primary method of communication for the district and schools is ParentSquare. The district and school buildings will send emails and text messages to parents/guardians about important reminders, time-sensitive updates, and any other urgent matters. The district will rarely use automated phone calls, unless there is an emergency.

Other forms of communication the school district utilizes include the district’s website and email.

If you have any questions about district communications, please contact Marci Orr at Central Office at 573-581-3773 ext 2409 or email communications@mexico.k12.mo.us.

  • If you have any questions about the 2026-2027 school year, please contact Central Office or your child’s school building. You can also send an email to communications@mexico.k12.mo.us to have your request forwarded to the appropriate personnel.
