April 2, 2026 – A group of five students traveled to Centralia to compete in the Regional Job Olympics, a hands-on event designed to help students build and demonstrate important workplace skills. A few other student buddies attended to support!
We are proud to share that all five of our participating students qualified for the State Job Olympics, which will be held on May 12.
The Job Olympics provides students with real-world experiences through activities such as inventory stocking, laundry sorting, and mock interviews. Throughout the day, students receive feedback from local employers and professionals while developing skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and independence. The event also helps build confidence and gives students a better understanding of what to expect in future job settings.
Events like the Job Olympics play an important role in preparing students for life after high school by connecting classroom learning to real-world applications. We are incredibly proud of our students and look forward to cheering them on at the state competition.
