May 21, 2026 – Bridget Bingham, instructor at Hart Career Center, has been recognized as a Distinguished Educator by the national nonprofit organization Next Gen Personal Finance for her commitment to professional development in personal finance education.

HCC Director Chris Denham shared, “We are proud of Bridget for continuing to invest in professional learning that directly benefits students. Her dedication helps prepare students with practical financial skills they can use long after graduation.”

Our Bulldog students are required to pass the personal finance class prior to graduation. 

The Distinguished Educator recognition honors teachers who complete extensive training in real-world financial literacy topics. To earn the distinction, Bingham completed six NGPF Certifications, each requiring nine hours of live, collaborative coursework and a comprehensive certification exam.

The award is a lifetime recognition and includes a commemorative plaque celebrating her achievement.
