July 9, 2026 – School supply lists are published! Visit our website or shop online and add supplies directly to your cart by searching for your school on TeacherLists. School starts on Tuesday, ​​August 25!

• Mexico Middle School 
• Mexico High School does not have a school supply list. The students will be assigned a Chromebook for classwork; they will need earbuds, pencils, and notebooks. Students will receive information about any other supplies needed from their teachers during the first week of school.

TEACHERLISTS. Mexico Public Schools has partnered with TeacherLists to provide ease in selecting school supplies. You may locate your child’s supply list on TeacherLists. Click to buy all the supplies, which will be added to your cart and shipped to you by the retailer of your choice: Walmart, Amazon, Target, Office Depot, Staples, Walgreens, or EPI school supplies. Search for your child's building by using our zip code and choosing the building. 

BACK TO SCHOOL HEALTH FAIR. The annual back-to-school health fair will be held on August 1, and school supplies will be available for families. Visit the United Methodist Church from 8 AM - noon. A parent must be present with the student. This is made possible by many community partners. See more information about the health fair on Facebook.

SALES TAX HOLIDAY. The Missouri back-to-school sales tax holiday weekend begins at 12:01 AM on Friday, August 7 and runs through midnight on Sunday, August 9. Certain back-to-school purchases, such as clothing, school supplies, computers, and other items as defined by statute, are exempt from all state and local sales or use taxes for this time period only. More information is available on the DOR website.
